Pakistan itself is a popular country when it comes to cultivating and shipping a wide variety of flowers. Luckily, if you are to send flowers to Pakistan from UK, you need not hunt for exotic flowers because they are very familiar with the symbolism of popular flowers, thanks to their indigenous floral trading.

1. Roses –These have been the kings of flower arrangements for a long time now, thanks for their spectacular beauty, wide range in colours and alluring fragrance. A simple rosebud has its own charm like no other flower bud does. Roses symbolise a number of things – love, friendship, warmth, a get-well-soon cheery note, courage or friendship. These can also be experimented extensively which is why new varieties of roses are now available, such as black roses.

2.  Gladioli – Another popular cut flower, these ornamental flowers are very popular because they come on tall stalks that can be beautifully arranged in a formal or information bouquet. They mostly come in shades of pink, white and red and have a very soft beautiful look about them. These symbolize strength of character, sincerity and even love at first sight!

3. Carnation – Another popular flower when it comes to all sorts of occasions, these have been in existence for over 2,000 years and available in a mind-boggling range of colours and sizes. Starting from the traditional red carnations to pale lavender edged with dark purple, carnations are easy to arrange and have a full, rich look about them, making them popular for various occasions. Carnations can be used singly, as bunches or in formal arrangements, just like roses. They symbolize various relations, strong bonds of love along with health and energy.

4. Lilies – One of the most ornamental cut flowers available in the market, lilies are perfect for many occasions ranging from birth to marriages. Usually, consisting of 5 petals arrange in the shape of a star, what adds to the beauty of these flowers are their bold styles, stamens and filaments that rise from the centre of the flower majestically. They are extremely soft to touch and available aplenty in the market. They are available in various colours too and symbolize love, purity and the goodness of the heart, but with a strong mind.

5. Tulips – Bulb flowers are also quite well-liked in Pakistan. Tulips are the most common example of such bulbs and are available in a wide range of colours. Long stalked, bulbous in shape with closely place petals that can be closed or slightly unfurled is how a tulip looks like. Tulip is mostly associated with feelings of human beings such as forgiveness and hope.

Other commonly shipped flowers to Pakistan are narcissue and daffodils. In a country, where these flowers are loved for their artistic as well as commercial value, they are also popular gift items that can be delivered to almost any part of the country.
